Islands of New England, September 28 - October 5, 2017
The West Virginia University Retirees Association presents Islands of New England,
a Collette tour, beginning on September 28, 2017.
The tour begins with a sightseeing tour of Providence, "America's Renaissance City." Then on to Newport
to see the mansions built as summer cottages for families like the Vanderbilts. Tour Boston and walk on the Freedom Trail. Tour a cranberry bog and then eat like a Pilgrim
at a Thanksgiving feast in Plymouth. Then on to your beachfront hotel for the next leg of the trip. Glimpse Camelot at Hyannisport
and visit the Kennedy Memorial. Travel to Nantucket on a high speed ferry. Board another ferry to Martha's
Vineyard known for visits by presidents and royalty. Afterwards cruise
back to Cape Cod where you can explore downtown Falmouth. Next travel to Provincetown located on the tip of
the Cape. Choose between a whale watch cruise or a tour of the iconic sand dunes. End the tour at a traditional seafood and lobster feast.
The trip begins in Morgantown with your bus ride to the airport. Then it's a flight to Providence, Rhode Island where the tour begins. We have seats on hold for the Retirees Association and Colette is taking reservations now.
If you would like to reserve your space, the deposit is
due by March 21, 2017. Final payment is due by July 30,2017.
