Wicked at the Benedum, Sunday, February 4, 2018

Retirees will travel by chartered bus to the Benedum Center in Pittsburgh on Sunday, February 4, 2018 to see a matinee of Wicked

Wicked is about what happened in the Land of Oz before Dorothy arrived.  It's about a misunderstood girl born with emerald-green skin whose friend is a popular blonde.  It's about the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good.

The cost for the ticket is $148.00 that includes both transportation and the show ticket.  Tickets will be distributed on the bus.

We will be joining a trip with other Budget Charters travelers but we will have seats together.  That means, however, that there will be additional stops after the pickup in Morgantown.

We will depart Morgantown at 10 a.m. from the Walmart on Hornbeck Road.  We will not stop for lunch so you might want to bring a snack.

The show starts at 1 p.m. and runs for 2 hours and 30 minutes with one intermission.

After the show, the bus will stop at Station Square where you can get dinner on your own at one of the restaurants.  We will return to Morgantown around 8 p.m.

Budget Charters is selling tickets now.  They have tickets available as part of a group tour.  Individual tickets won't go on sale until November.

To reserve your spot, call Budget Charters at 724-246-1982 and ask for either Natalie or Donna.  Let them know that you are a member of the WVU Retirees Association and are making reservations for Wicked

We look forward to seeing you on February 4.
