WVURA Annual Meeting, Thursday, April 12, 2018

Join your fellow members for the WVU Retirees Association annual meeting.  We will start with the business meeting and the election of board members.  After that, we will hear from our featured speaker. Dr. Clay Marsh, who leads the academic health sciences center at WVU.  After the speaker, we will have a dessert reception and social hour.  Our agenda follows.

Agenda

1:30 - 2:30 p.m.  Welcome/Association Activity Reports/Election

We will have a report on the state of the association along with reports from the activities and finance groups. 

Terms for three of our board members have expired.  We will elect members to the board.

2:30 - 3:30 p.m.  Dr. Clay Marsh, Vice President of Health Sciences

Our speaker is Dr. Clay Marsh from the WVU Health Sciences Center.  Dr. Marsh leads the academic health sciences along with numerous programs and clinical operations around the state.  Dr. Marsh has concentrated his efforts in determining how to help individuals stay healthy and how to create ecosystems to make that easy. 

3:30 - 4:30 p.m.  Dessert Reception and Social Hour

Members are invited to socialize and enjoy the dessert reception.
