The West Virginia University Retirees Association presents Discover Maritimes Coastal
Wonders, a Collette tour beginning on August 25 through September 4, 2024 - the
best time of year to visit the provinces.
Members of the Association will travel for 11 days and 10 nights to Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and New Brunswick.
From Halifax, Nova Scotia you’ll visit Peggy’s Cove, Mahone Bay, and the beautiful Lighthouse
Route to Lunenburg.
On Cape Breton Island, you’ll explore the Cabot Trail and enjoy a picnic lunch
in Cape Breton Highlands National Park.
From there you’ll travel to Prince Edward Island where you’ll visit the Anne of Green Gables museum along with the Prince
Edward Island National Park.
Then it’s on to New Brunswick where you'll see Hopewell Rocks and the flowerpot-shaped
rocks carved by the Fundy times. Then on to Saint John for a traditional
lobster feast.
And that’s just the highlights. There’s lots more to see in between and several options along the way.
The trip begins in Morgantown with your limo ride to the airport. We have seats on hold for the Retirees Association and Collette is taking reservations now. Included in the cost is round trip air fare.
If you would like to reserve your space for this trip, a $698 deposit per person is due by February 18, 2024 and the final payment is due by June 26, 2024. If you make a reservation then change your mind, you can get a full refund up until February 25, 2024. There is also an option for travel insurance.
