The retirees are traveling by chartered bus to Somerset County, PA to visit the Quecreek
mine rescue site, the Flight 93 National Memorial, and end the day with a dinner
theater
Tribute to the USA.
We will visit the inspirational
Quecreek Mine
Rescue Site where 9 miners were rescued from 240 feet beneath the earth in a never-before-attempted
effort.
Lunch will be on your own at one of the Somerset restaurants.
After lunch we will tour the
Flight 93 National Memorial where we can learn about the extraordinary courage
of those who fought back against terrorists.
Our journey will continue to
Rockwood Mill Shoppes and Opera House. We will start with a guided tour where
we will learn about lumberjack history, visit the novelty shops, and check
out the antiques and collectibles. After the tour, we will have a pre-dinner
wine tasting and buffet dinner before the performance featuring a Tribute to the
USA.
The cost of this trip is $79.00 per person which includes bus transportation, Quecreek
admission, Flight 93, and the dinner and show at Rockwood Mill Shoppes. We
will leave Morgantown at 8:00 a.m. and arrive at Quecreek around 10:00 a.m.
We will depart Rockwood around 8:00 p.m. and arrive in Morgantown around 10:00 p.m.
Refund Policy: Reservations for this trip are due by Wednesday, September
4, 2019. On that day we will make our commitment to the bus company.
As a result, we will not be able to make any refunds after that date.

on the bus and then (2) make your payment.
