WVU Retirees Association Annual Picnic

Reservations are due by September 22, 2017. 

Retirees are invited to the annual WVU Retirees Association picnic at the Westside Senior Center on Sunday, October 1, 2017 from 12:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

The Westside Senior Center is located at 500 Dupont Road in Westover.  It is adjacent to the Westover City Park and directly behind Westover City Hall.  

In addition to the food and drink provided by the Association, we will have entertainment. Paul Burger is back again this year with music from the sixties.  And the Motown Strutters will dance for us.  They believe that age knows no boundaries and, for them, life is a dance!! 

Lunch will be The Backyard Classic from Catering Services which includes all beef hot dogs, grilled pub burgers, veggie burgers, red skinned potato salad, orzo pasta salad, garnish (tomatoes, onions, pickles, lettuce), potato chips, and a fresh seasonal fruit bowl. There will be lemonade, iced tea and water to drink. And brownies and assorted cookies for dessert. 

There will also be giveaway prizes and a door prize that you can win. The door prize is a satchel stuffed with WVU gear along with a camp chair. Tickets for the door prize will be $5.00 each or 3 for $10.00.  The money we raise will be used to support the dinners at Rosenbaum House that the Association provides twice a year.  

Reservations are mandatory so that we know the amount of food to order. Retirees may bring a guest.  Please reserve your space(s) by September 22, 2017 at Picnic .
