A Message from E. Gordon Gee, President, West Virginia University
The real strength of an institution is its people and West Virginia University’s
retirees are among our greatest assets.
Retiring from your career does not mean retiring from things that are important
to you. As men and women who spent their careers improving lives through education,
you still have so much to offer to our University, state and world. That is why
I am pleased that so many of you are joining the Retirees Association to stay in
touch with your University and your friends.
As a member of the Association, you will receive useful information that will
help you make the most of this exciting season of life. You will also find opportunities
to socialize, learn new things and use your wisdom, experience and passion to change
lives. Thank you for showing the world that your love for West Virginia University
endures and that you are, forever, Mountaineers.
