Join your fellow retirees at the WVU Retirees Association annual meeting that begins at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2024 in Salon C at the Erickson Alumni Center.

Agenda

1:00-1:15 p.m.  Welcome

The WVU Retirees Association Board President will open the meeting, welcome members, introduce current members of the board, and give an overview of the organization.


1:15 - 2:00 p.m.  Speaker

Our speaker is Susan Riddle, the President and CEO at Visit Mountaineer Country CVB.  Susan will highlight the undiscovered hidden gems and world-class outdoor adventures in our Mountain State and be able to speak to Governor Justice’s initiative to upgrade the West Virginia State Parks system.  

2:00 - 2:15 p.m.  Election

We will elect three new board members: a faculty member, a non-classified staff member, and a classified staff member.  To see the bios for Board of Director candidates, click on Bios.  

Nominations for the board will also be accepted from the floor.  The nominee must be present and agree to be on the ballot.  He/she will be asked to introduce themselves to the membership. 

2:15 - 3:15 p.m. Reception

The reception is sponsored by the WVU Foundation.  Members are invited to socialize, enjoy the refreshments, and meet the WVU Mountaineer..
