The WVURA Book Club will gather at 10 a.m. on the first Friday of every
month (except July and August) to discuss books they have chosen to read.
We are currently meeting at the Village at Heritage Point.
The book for the March 6 meeting is Better: A Surgeon's Notes on Performance by Atul Gawande.
The book for the April 3 meeting is How the Word is Passed by Clint Smith.
The book for the May 1 meeting is Stasiland by Anna Funder.
Here's a photo of the group that met on April 5, 2019 to discuss
The End of Your Life Book Club by Will Schwalbe. Members attend meetings
as they are available. You are welcome to join us at any meeting.
The Book Club will be unique - no pressures, no dues, no book reports to give, no discussions to lead, no grades – just camaraderie and a cup of coffee! If you would like to join the club, just come to one of the meetings. We welcome new members.
