I really enjoyed the Coffee Chat at Terra Cafe on April 14th and plan to come next month. I now have someone to cut my grass from contacts at our gathering!!

Join members of the Retirees Association for a casual gathering at the Terra Cafe – see Janet Lemunyon’s email below. Call your retired friends and have them meet you at the Cafe for coffee, pastries, or even breakfast. Or come and chat with retirees who have gathered. 

The cost is on your own, but the company is free. No reservations are required…just come and have a chat!

Dear WVU Retirees,

As a fellow retiree, I have been asked to coordinate a “Coffee Chat” for the members of the Association. I met with Mary Thomas and Elaine Sholtis recently to identify dates that hopefully work for our Retirees. We also talked with the staff at the Terra Café to determine what they could accommodate. As a result, we chose to have a Coffee Chat on the second Tuesday of each month. We’re going to try this for the next few months to see how things go.

Our Coffee Chat’s will be on the second Tuesday of the month at 9 a.m. at the Terra Café in Star City. The Café’s address is 425 Industrial Avenue which is right of the condos (behind CitiNet Bldg.). They have a large parking lot with an entrance at ground level that is handicap accessible. The menu is varied and includes the usual beverages, assorted pastries and breakfast items. The Café’s menu is known for its freshness, local products, and menu items that are made from scratch! The time allocation can be varied depending on one’s schedule.
