Pittsburgh Christmas Market

The retirees traveled to the Pittsburgh Peoples Gas Holiday Market and the Pittsburgh Strip District to kick off the Christmas shopping season.  They strolled through the holiday markets for that perfect gift or simply browsed in the festive atmosphere of seasonal decorations, artisans and vendors.  Then it was on to the Strip District for more shopping and dining.  The Strip District is a foodie heaven and as authentic as it is fun.  Locals love it for its low prices and tremendous selections. Retirees were able to shop at ethnic grocers, produce stands, meat and fish markets and sidewalk vendors.  It was the perfect opportunity to shop for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner.
