Members of the Retirees Association will travel by chartered bus to the
Senator John Heinz History Center. The Heinz History Center is an affiliate
of the Smithsonian Institution and has six floors of long-term and changing exhibitions
that highlight regional history. The Center is located in Pittsburgh's historic
Strip District, home to a wide variety of restaurants and shops.
We will leave Morgantown from the Mountaineer Mall at 8:30 a.m. and arrive in
Pittsburgh around 10 a.m. Our tour of the Center begins at 10 a.m.
At 12:30 p.m., the bus will pick up at the Heinz History Center and drop off at Smallman and 21st Street in the middle of the Strip District. You are on your own for lunch and shopping in the
Strip District.
We will leave Pittsburgh at 3:30 p.m. Pickup is at Smallman and 21st Street. We should be back in Morgantown around 5 p.m.
The cost for this trip $35 per seat. The price includes bus transportation
and the entrance fee to the Heinz History Museum.
Refund Policy:
Reservations for this trip are due by July 26, 2018. On that day,
we will make our commitment to Budget Charters. As a result, we will not be
able to make any refunds after that date.
