Retirees are going to Lancaster to visit the Amish country.

Turkey HillYour journey starts with the Turkey Hill Experience in Columbia, PA for a taste of sinfully delicious homemade ice cream.  Inside, interactive exhibits allow you to learn about dairy culture, the story of Turkey Hill Dairy and how the company’s ice cream and iced tea flavors are selected and created.  You can even make your very own ice cream creation at one of the virtual interactive screens. 

Then travel a short distance to Lancaster whereWill Rogers Follies you will check into the Cork Factory Hotel with time to freshen-up for the Dutch Apple Dinner Theater. There you will see the “Will Rogers Follies,” a Ziegfeld Follies-style extravaganza which features vivacious showgirls and a slew of cowboys and promises a joy-filled experience for every generation!

Sight and Sound TheatresYour second day starts with breakfast at the hotel before departing for the Sight and Sound Theater for your journey into the life of Jesus from his birth to his resurrection.  Discover the lives affected before and after the encounter with Jesus.  You’ll feel the emotional impact that he had on so many people. 

Following the performance, you’ll Inn at Leola Villagetravel a short distance to The Inn at Leola Village for a meal.  This distinctive Inn represents the region’s charm and heritage with many of the buildings dating back to the 1800’s.  As you step inside you’ll see posts, beams and barn doors original to the property.  Your family style meal starts with artisan breads and peanut butter spread, salads and a three-meat main course along with starches, vegetables and ending with a delicious homemade dessert.

The cost of the Amish Country Experience is $325.00 per person based on double occupancy.  The package includes deluxe round trip motor coach transportation, one night’s accommodations in Lancaster, meals and attractions as described above, baggage handling, taxes and gratuities. Departure will be from Morgantown.  Departure details are still being confirmed.  

Refund Policy: Reservations for this trip are due by Thursday, August 15, 2019.  On that day we will make our commitment to the bus company.  As a result, we will not be able to make any refunds after that date.  

Making reservations is a two-step process.  You need to: (1) reserve your seat(s) on the bus and then (2) make your payment.
