Lavender Farm and More

Lavender Farms
Lavender Farm and More, Wednesday, July 9, 2025

Reservation deadline:  July 2, 2025

Join retirees on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, as they travel to Garrett County, Maryland to visit Lavender Farm and other attractions in and around Deep Creek.  We’ll start at the Simon Pearce Factory Outlet for a glassblowing demonstration.  Then on to the Garrett County Historical Museum, the Oakland B&O Railroad Museum, and the Garrett County Museum of Transportation that features the Smithsonian Exhibit: Places of Innovation.

After the outlet and museums, lunch will be on your own at the 3rd Street Diner in Oakland, Maryland.  After lunch, we’ll travel to Deep Creek Lavender Farm.  We will be visiting the farm during peak bloom time so we hope to see the prime blooms where you can pick your own lavender.

The cost of the trip is $35.  We will leave the Mountaineer Mall at 8:30 a.m. and be back in Morgantown around 5:30 p.m.

If you have questions or need more information, you can contact one of our event coordinators:  Lana Cantoni at 304-685-4532 or Susan Petsko at 304-290-6420.

Refund Policy:  Reservations are due by Wednesday, July 2, 2025.  On that day we will make our commitment to the bus company.  As a result, we will not be able to make any refunds after that date.
