The West Virginia University Retirees Association presents Sequoia and Kings Canyon
National Parks, a Collette tour beginning on September 10 through September 19,
2025.
Members of the Association will travel for 10 days and 9 nights to visit the
cities of San Diego and Los Angeles, the beachy vibes of California’s central
coast, and the awe-inspiring scenery of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks,.
The tour begins in San Diego with a tour through the city’s diverse neighborhoods and a harbor cruise. You'll visit Los Angeles to stroll along the Walk of Fame to Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, get a close-up of Beverly Hills, and tour the La Brea Tar Pits. Then on to see the Old Mission of Santa Barbara and then to Pismo Beach and an optional tour of the Hearst Castle. Next is Visalia, gateway to Sequoia and Kings Canyon national parks where you'll see the General Grant tree and the General Sherman tree.
And that’s just a few of the highlights. There’s lots more to see in between and several options along the way.The trip begins in Morgantown with your limo ride to the airport. We have seats on hold for the Retirees Association and Collette is taking reservations now. Included in the cost is round trip air fare.
If you would like to reserve your space for this trip, a $698 deposit per person is due by March 10, 2025 and the final payment is due by June 12, 2025. If you make a reservation now and then change your mind, you can get a full refund up until March 10, 2025. There is also an option for travel insurance.
