Association members volunteered at the Empty Bowls Soup & Bread Luncheon at the Ruby Community Center. There were numerous ways to volunteer starting on Thursday and continuing through Saturday. One way to help was to serve soup in exchange for a cash donation to fight local hunger. Donors were able to select and keep ceramic bowls as a reminder of the meal’s purpose. See  Empty Bowls for more information on the event.
