Hoss Foundation Gift Project University High School

WVURA members came through again when they volunteered at the Hoss Foundation Gift Project. The Hoss Foundation was founded by former NFL and WVU QB Jeff Hostetler and his wife, Vicky, to help meet the needs of children and/or families facing hardships.

Thanks to our volunteer coordinator, Linda Baer (on right), our group volunteered for the Wrapping Party. The foundation buys and wraps over 7000 gifts for families in Monongalia, Marion and Preston Counties who are facing hardships due to traumatic injury, illness, or financial crisis. 

Not only did our volunteers show up, but there were so many people there that it took only 1 1/2 hours to wrap the gifts. Our group got a photo with Jeff Hostetler who said, “Wow! You guys are great.” And we think so, too! Thanks to our volunteers who show up again and
