We started out the afternoon at Black Bear restaurant where our group had a very nice lunch and pleasant conversation. We’re always a fun group – just ask us!

After lunch we traveled to the Basketball Hall of Traditions for a guided tour. Coach McPherson had arranged a behind the scenes tour so we got to see the office space, practice floor, locker room, weight room, and lounge space.  Thanks, coach! After that, we toured the Hall of Traditions to see memorabilia from both the women’s and men’s teams. And, a special treat for us, it was alumni weekend so we got to see some of the exceptional women of WVU Basketball – talk about feeling short!

After the tour, we watched the game from very nice reserved seats at the Coliseum. Athletics treated us well. They also had a welcome for us on the scoreboard. The game was close for quite a while but in the end the women lost to #4 Baylor. We were sorry to see that. But it was a really nice day for us. Thanks to Coach McPherson and the Athletics staff who made the day special.
