The Frick PittsburghOn June 29, members of the Association traveled by chartered bus to
The Frick Pittsburgh.
The Frick is a museum located on five acres of beautifully landscaped lawns and gardens
in the city's East End. It was the home of Henry Clay Frick, an industrialist
and art collector, beginning in 1883. The house and grounds were restored and
opened to the public in 1990.
We toured Clayton House, the historic home of the Frick family. We also toured the greenhouse, the art museum, and the car and carriage museum. We were also able to stroll the beautifully landscaped grounds.
We stopped on our way home at Adams Pine Creek
in Washington PA for the dinner buffet.
Good group, good tour, good dinner!
