Annual Meeting

Members gathered at the Alumni Center for the annual meeting of the Retirees Association.  The agenda was as follows.

1:30 - 2:30 p.m.  Welcome/Association Activity Reports/Election

The president welcomed retirees and presented a report on the state of the association.  He also introduced reports from the activities and finance groups.  Retirees elected new board members to replace three whose terms expired.  Elected to the board were:  Lee Beaumont, Lana Cantoni, and Ade Neidermeyer

2:30 - 3:30 p.m.  Dr. Clay Marsh, Vice President of Health Sciences

Dr. Clay Marsh from the WVU Health Sciences Center was the featured speaker.  His presentation focused on determining how to help individuals stay healthy and how to create ecosystems to make that easy. 

3:30 - 4:30 p.m.  Dessert Reception and Social Hour

Members took time to socialize with fellow retirees and enjoy the dessert reception.
