President Monroe at Friendship Hill

That's Colonel Monroe on the left (he won't be Chief Magistrate until February) and Albert Gallatin on the right.  Mr. Gallatin welcomed us to Friendship Hill and was an excellent host for Colonel Monroe's visit.  Although they didn't recognize "West Virginia" University since it was 1817, the program and the reenactors were exceptional.  If you missed it, you missed a good one.
