Cherry Blossom Festival 

Retirees traveled to Washington DC for the cherry blossom festival. It was a one-day trip.  We left early in the morning and dropped off at the Smithsonian Castle on the mall.  We were a short walk from the Tidal Basin and all the beautiful trees.  We set our own itinerary for the day.  We got lucky. The cherry blossoms were at their peak and the day was beautiful.
