An Afternoon of Inspiration

The Retirees Association joined with OLLI to travel to Pittsburgh to tour the nationality rooms at the University of Pittsburgh and to see DaVinci, the Exhibition at the Carnegie Science Center.  Representing 30 countries and cultures, the nationality rooms were designed to represent the culture of various ethnic groups that settled in Allegheny County.  The DaVinci exhibition featured more than 60 fully built life-size inventions and 20 recreations of printings and sketches including a true-to-scale reproduction of The Last Supper.
