The Retirees Association partnered with the Red Cross to sponsor a blood drive on June 9, 2022. Retirees again turned out in force, filled all the available slots, and helped meet the Red Cross's critical need for blood. Thanks, retirees.

Blood Drive
Go retirees! You did it again! All the slots were filled at our recent blood drive. You helped the American Red Cross meet it critical need for blood. To date, we have held five WVU Retiree Association Blood Drives, collected 157 pints of blood, and ultimately saved 471 lives in our community from the effort. Thanks to Sonja Wilson for coordinating our drives.

Have you seen all the "Now Hiring" signs about town lately? Well, the Red Cross is not immune either. We had a full registration of retirees for the blood drive but had to cancel because the Red Cross did not have enough staff to manage the event. The drive will be rescheduled but no date has been set yet.
