Backpack Feeding Program
Scott’s Run Settlement House

WVURA members had an easy day on October 21. We packed only 500 food bags to be sent home with school children over the weekend. Another group of volunteers had packed the other 300 bags. It took us about an hour. The goal at Scott’s Run is to ensure that no school child spends a weekend hungry. We worked as an assembly line – only we did the moving!
